Honestly, I have no idea, but I figured before I'd go for a long and overly complicated explanation that detracts from the fact that Ky can walk off what amounts to a mini-nuke, I'd rather gloss it over and hope people don't mind too much. *laughs*
In all seriousness, though, I'm really happy you liked it. Magic is way too shiny to just push it to the side... though I may be going a bit overboard what with formulating a theory of it in my head. orz Sanity is overrated. (Did you defeat your evil paper, btw?)
